Hi there!

I have always been interested in design since a young age and was one of those kids that was constantly drawing and sketching. Taking Art at GCSE helped me to narrow my creativity and began to fuel my passion for design. This was only furthered by my exploration of Graphic Design at A-Level. I find the process of design iteration and design to be fascinating, how ideas can change and evolve throughout the timeline.

During my A-Levels was when I developed an interest in Architecture and the built environment, even basing one of my major projects in my course around an architecture firm. This interest lead to me applying for an Architecture Degree at the University of Liverpool and beginning a new leg of my Journey.

My time at University was truly transformative (as cliche as that may be). I found myself slowly coming out of my shell and becoming more confident, all while developing important skills in design principles and presentation.

While my time at University also collided with the COVID-19 pandemic, I can say that I thoroughly enjoyed my time. Coming out of my degree I was unsure where I wanted to go next, while Architecture was still an interest of mine, I knew wanted to look elsewhere for the next step in my career.

In the summer after I graduated I took a Design Internship with cheapskate, a brand-new start-up looking to revolutionise the idea of a personal shopping assistant. This role allowed me to gain a wide variety of skills and work with professionals involved in the tech industry.
